This policy explains what personal information Our Little Movie ("we", "us") collects when you order a custom animated video, how we use it, and your choices. Contact: hello@ourlittlemovie.com.

1. What we collect

Contact details — your name and email address, so we can communicate about your order.
Order content — the photos, names, dates, story details and any notes you send us to create your video. Your photos may show other people (a partner, family, children). When you send us those photos you confirm, under our Terms, that you have their consent — or, for a child, that you are the parent or guardian or have the guardian's permission.
Order metadata — which package you bought and when, and the confirmation and payer name PayPal sends us for your payment.

We do not collect or store your payment card details. See section 4.

2. How we use it

To produce, revise and deliver your video.
To contact you about your order and any follow-up you request.
To keep records required for tax and accounting.

We do not use your photos or story for advertising, and we do not publish any finished video as a sample without asking you first.

3. AI and production tools

To create your video we use animation and AI-assisted software. As part of production, the photos and details you provide may be uploaded to and processed by third-party software services (for image generation, animation, voice or music). These providers process the material to return a result to us and under their own terms. If you would prefer we not use a particular tool on your photos, tell us before you send your materials.

4. Payments

All payments are processed by PayPal. PayPal collects your billing information and card details directly on its own secure pages, and we never see or store them. We receive only a payment confirmation and the payer's name. PayPal's handling of your data is governed by PayPal's Privacy Statement.

5. Who else we share data with

We only share what is necessary, with:

PayPal — payment processing and billing support.
Our website host (Netlify) — serves the website.
Email provider — to send and receive messages about your order.
Production software providers — as described in section 3.

We never sell your personal information.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your photos and order materials for up to 90 days after your video is delivered, in case you ask for a further revision, and then delete them. We keep basic order and invoice records for as long as tax law requires. You can ask us to delete your materials sooner — see section 7.

7. Your rights

You can ask us to:

See what personal information we hold about you;
Correct it;
Delete it (where we are not required to keep it);
Stop using it for anything beyond completing your order.

Email hello@ourlittlemovie.com and we will respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights under the GDPR or the CCPA.

8. Cookies

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Any cookies are strictly for the site to function.

9. Children

Our Little Movie is intended for adults purchasing a gift. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The current version is always published here with its date.
